Taking it beyond ornamental decoration Jardim Porcelânico became the agent for social interaction and exchange at an event hosted by the British Council in Lisbon. Artists, scientists, politicians, curators and cultural commentators, were invited for a communal culinary experience at which knowledge was exchanged and ideas explored. Reflecting the ambitions of the project the food accompanying the occasion was prepared by Cooking Lab to reflect recent trends for a more ambitious gastro-science.
